Public Health Dentistry
About
Public Health Dentistry is focused on community oral health, epidemiology, and preventive dentistry. Approved by the Dental Council of India, it trains dentists to prevent oral diseases through organized community efforts and health policies rather than treating individual patients.
Course Requirements
- Duration: The total duration of the MDS program is 3 years.
- Academic Degree: A recognized BDS degree is required.
- Internship: Successful completion of a 1-year compulsory rotating internship is required.
- Entrance Exams: Candidates must qualify for NEET MDS.
