About
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is the surgical specialty of dentistry focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects involving the hard and soft tissues of the face, jaw, and mouth. Training combines advanced dental, medical, and surgical expertise.
Course Requirements
- Duration: The total duration of the MDS program is 3 years.
- Academic Degree: A recognized BDS degree is required.
- Internship: Successful completion of a 1-year compulsory rotating internship is required.
- Entrance Exams: Candidates must qualify for NEET MDS.
