Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
About
This specialty focuses on the preservation and restoration of natural teeth. Conservative dentistry covers cosmetic/aesthetic procedures and fillings. Endodontics deals with pulpal and periapical diseases, most notably root canal therapies and microscopic endodontic surgeries.
Course Requirements
- Duration: The total duration of the MDS program is 3 years.
- Academic Degree: A recognized BDS degree is required.
- Internship: Successful completion of a 1-year compulsory rotating internship is required.
- Entrance Exams: Candidates must qualify for NEET MDS.
