“SVS Group of Institutions” was established in 1986 under the name of ‘Neo-Chem tutorials’ with teaching as the only investment. It provided coaching to 10+2, degree, MSc entrance and Eamcet students. It started with only 8 students and in an year time, the strength increased to 300.
From then on, the important milestones achieved are:
In 1987, class strength improved to 800 students
On 23 Nov 1988, Thirumala Educational Society was registered
In 1989, SV Co-operative Junior College was established, in leased area, with 300 students at a college fee of just 1000/- per annum.
In 1992, College was shifted to own campus
In 1993, SV Co-operative Junior College was made a full-fledged private college with the name SVS Junior College
In 1994, SVS Degree College was established
In 1997, Conventional PG courses were introduced and SVS Degree College was renamed as SVS Degree and PG College
In 1998, our organization acquired Manjeera Educational Society and Manjeera Junior College
In 2000, a new campus exclusive for boys was established
In 2001, SVS Junior College for Girls was established
In 2002, SVS PG College was established
In 2008, SVS Institute of Technology and SVS Institute of Pharmacy Colleges were established
In 2009, MBA course was started. Our engineering, pharmacy and management institutions achieved ISO 9001:2008 status
