Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya is a premier educational institution in the state of Telangana. It is one of the leading colleges in the Southern States of India. Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya was established in 1962 by the Osmania Graduates’ Association. It has evolved since then, from a tiny tutorial college with 39 students (known as U.W.C.A in 1957) to a strength of 3500. It is affiliated to the Osmania University, for Under Gradaute and Post Graduate courses, recognised by UGC, under 2(f) and 12(B) under the Act of 1956, by the AICTE for its Business Management Programme and Board of Intermediate for its Intermediate course. It is one of the largest Women’s college in the state of Telangana.
Named after the great freedom fighter “Sarojini Naidu” and the foundation stone of the college building laid by yet another stalwart freedom fighter “Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan” must signify something – YES, a fierce dedication to the “SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE!”.
The infrastructure of our college is very good. A gym is also available in our college. The library of our college is very big when compared to other colleges. The college lab contains more than 70 highly updated systems. I am not a hosteler, but when my friends used to talk about the hostel, I heard only positive things.
Our college provides very good placement opportunities. More than 25 MNCs visited our college for placements. More than 100 girls got placed in one year. The companies offered good salary packages. Students work very hard to get success. All the interview rounds were conducted in our college only. The best students grab the opportunities.
