Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya is a premier educational institution in the state of Telangana. It is one of the leading colleges in the Southern States of India.
Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya was established in 1962 by the  Osmania Graduates’ Association. It has evolved since then, from a tiny tutorial college with 39 students (known as U.W.C.A in 1957) to a strength of 3500. It is affiliated to the Osmania University, for Under Gradaute and Post Graduate courses, recognised by UGC, under 2(f) and 12(B) under the Act of 1956, by the AICTE for its Business Management Programme and Board of Intermediate for its Intermediate course. It is one of the largest Women’s college in the state of Telangana.
Named after the great freedom fighter “Sarojini Naidu” and the foundation stone of the college building laid by yet another stalwart freedom fighter “Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan” must signify something – YES, a fierce dedication to the “SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE!”.
